Description
The Bernina Express panoramic tour from Milan is a day for people who care about the train. Glass-topped panoramic cars let you follow the line from alpine glaciers down to a land of palms, and with the panoramic option your seat in the carriage is guaranteed, although seats are not assigned in advance.
A coach leaves Milan from Piazza della Repubblica in the morning for St. Moritz, where you have around two and a half hours to walk by the lake, shop or taste sweets in a local pastry shop. If you pick the lunch option, a Valtellina meal of pizzoccheri at Diavolezza replaces the free time.
