Description
This La Scala theater and museum guided tour takes you inside one of the leading opera houses in the world. The visit lasts about an hour and takes in the auditorium itself, where you look at the neoclassical interior and the monumental crystal chandelier from the boxes on the third level. With some timing and luck you may see the artists rehearsing, although rehearsals and special events can close the theatre to visitors.
The guide also leads you through the museum, whose collection reads like a history of classical music.
