Description
A Triennale Milano design museum ticket lets you explore the Museo del Design Italiano on your own, without a guide. The permanent collection gathers approximately 400 objects dating from the twenties to the 2000s, laid out in chronological order and now including recent acquisitions.
Instead of a plain list of famous names, the display reads Italian design as a web of ideas, innovations and links with industry and society. Five cross-cutting thematic sections, planned as dynamic and interactive installations, run alongside the timeline, and the museum was built with a strong focus on accessibility.
- Entry to the permanent collection in the Museo del Design Italiano
- The garden and the café of Triennale Milano, open to you too
Triennale is one of the city's best-known venues for art and design, so the ticket makes an easy cultural stop between other visits in Milan, with a garden and a café for a pause. A guided tour is not part of it.
