Description

Financial centre of the city, it gains its name from the latin Curtis Duci, that means “seat of the Duke” in the Longbard age. It’s the seat of many banks and it boasts a lot of important palaces that date back to the beginning of the ‘900, such as Palazzo delle Assicurazioni Generali and the Casa Dario (both by architect Luca Beltrami), the ex Palazzo della Borsa (Stock Exchange) and the Palazzo del Credito Italiano, by Luigi Broggi.
