The building is an important example of Milanese liberty. It was designed by the architect Giovanni Battista Bossi in 1904 on behalf of the Cav. Giacomo Guazzoni.
The decorations of the ceilings have been recently restored.
The driveway has a fine wrought-iron gate and frescoes with cherubs and flowers found in the restoration of 1997.
