Description
Inside the Palazzo Brera, a convent of the Humiliati order that dates back to the 1300s, Brera Art Gallery tickets open the Pinacoteca di Brera, one of Milan's great painting collections. You visit on your own, in about two hours, with the rooms laid out in front of you.
The 31 rooms follow the story of Italian painting, grouped by period and by regional school, so each step brings a different tradition. Highlights include "The Marriage of the Virgin" by Raphael and a "Virgin and Child" by Bellini, while Tintoretto, Titian, Veronese and Bramantino fill other walls.
