Description
This Lake Como day trip from Milan lasts about ten hours and crosses the border into Switzerland before bringing you back. The air-conditioned coach leaves from Piazza Repubblica in Milan and heads through the Lombardy countryside to Bellano.
In Bellano the stop is the Orrido gorge, cut over thousands of years by the Pioverna River. A boat then takes you to Varenna, a colourful lakeside village with the Lovers' Lane walkway above the water, and you have free time among its alleys and waterfront. A second boat reaches Bellagio, where you can wander through gardens, shops and stairways at your own pace.

The day includes a guide, headsets and a skip-the-line ticket, and the boat cruise is private for your group. Meals, drinks and the entry ticket to the Orrido are extra. Comfortable shoes and a waterproof hat are recommended, and the coach is scheduled to return to Milan at the end of the day.
